Sport Tourism Consultant
Keith, former owner/President of Team Sales Vancouver Island Ltd, is a lifelong Victorian. He attended University of Victoria and Laurentian University where he earned his Bachelor of Commerce in Sports Administration degree and led the Voyageurs to a CIAU National Soccer Championship. Upon graduation, Keith joined the Vancouver Whitecaps Soccer Club in the NASL as Team Administrator, working with professional athlete contracts and management. He was involved with the Club and assisted with the opening of BC Place Stadium.
Keith then began a 35-year career in the sportswear manufacturing industry with Team Sales, taking the small company to prominence with large contracts including Sobeys, UVic, CBC and the 1994 Commonwealth Games. Supplying the Games with the Volunteer’s and host CBC’s apparel, as well as producing the Opening and Closing Ceremonies costumes, helped establish Team Sales as a leading company in the industry. Keith also collaborated with local Indigenous artists under his company, Coastline Apparel, to successfully create unique products for the worldwide tourism industry.
Keith sold his companies in 2014 and has turned his attentions to consulting, mainly in the areas of sport and tourism, naturally. He is involved with and a member of such associations as Victoria Executive Management Club, Greater Victoria Sport Tourism Commission and Runsport Victoria Society. Keith is also privileged to be a member the BC Provincial Government’s Small Business Roundtable.
Keith has been working since 2017 to bring the Invictus Games to BC and looks forward to assisting with the Invictus Games 2025 Vancouver/Whistler.
