About Rogers Arena

Welcome to Rogers Arena. Located in downtown Vancouver, Rogers Arena is one of Canada’s premier sports and entertainment venues. It is the proud host of the Closing Ceremony for the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025, where we’ll end the Games with an evening of unity and inspiration.

Fun fact: Rogers Arena was originally called General Motors Place (GM Place) when it opened in 1995, but was renamed Rogers Arena in 2010, just in time for the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics.

What’s Happening Here?

On February 16th, 2025, Rogers Arena will host the Closing Ceremony, marking the official conclusion of the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025. From 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, attendees will experience a night of inspiring speeches, cultural performances, and a musical finale, celebrating the incredible achievements of the Competitors.

Public Transport
The nearest SkyTrain station is Stadium–Chinatown (Expo Line), located just a 2-minute walk from the arena.

Driving & Parking
Rogers Arena is accessible from Griffiths Way. Parking is available in nearby lots, including accessible spaces near the main entrances.

All bags are subject to security screening. Prohibited items include outside food, large bags, and professional cameras. Smoking and e-cigarettes are not allowed inside the venue.
