About Vancouver Convention Centre (VCC)
Located on Vancouver’s scenic downtown waterfront, the Vancouver Convention Centre (VCC) will serve as the heart of the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025. Renowned for its award-winning sustainable design and breathtaking views of the Burrard Inlet, VCC offers a world-class venue for both competitions and community engagement.
The VCC will host indoor sports competitions, including Indoor Rowing, Sitting Volleyball, Wheelchair Basketball, and Wheelchair Rugby. It will also be home to the Invictus Games Village at the East Building and the Nations Home in the West Building, offering dynamic spaces for celebration, connection, and recovery.

East Building
What’s Happening Here?
- Invictus Games Village: A lively community hub featuring interactive activities, live performances, and a food hall. Also, a chance to watch the games live on Feb 9, 13 and 15.
- Indoor Competitions: Cheer on competitors in Wheelchair Basketball, Wheelchair Rugby and Sitting Volleyball
- Merchandise: The official Invictus Games 2025 merchandise kiosk can be found in the Invictus Village and front lobby.

Location and Directions
Getting to the VCC
The Vancouver Convention Centre West is at 1055 Canada Place, while the East Building is at 999 Canada Place.
Public Transport
The nearest transit hub is Waterfront Station, which is the central location for the Seabus, Skytrain, Canada Line and West Coast Express. The Convention Centre is also close to several bus stops.
Driving & Parking
Pay parking is available under the West and East Buildings on a first-come, first-served basis. Addition information can be found on the VCC website.
- For parking under the East Building, enter via Howe Street.
- For parking under the West Building, enter off Canada Place, ½ block west of the Burrard Street intersection on the right-hand side.
Accessibility Features
The Convention Centre is wheelchair accessible with elevator access, ramps, and quiet areas. Convention Centre staff and volunteers will be on site to help access any accessible features.
Venue Rules & Guidelines
Security screening is mandatory upon entry.
Only small bags (maximum 12″ x 6″ x 12″) are allowed; backpacks and oversized items are prohibited.
Outside food and drinks, professional cameras, and large banners are not permitted.

Arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled event to allow time for security screening and seating.

Re-entry is allowed for ticketed events. Guests must have their tickets scanned upon exiting and re-entering the stadium.

Outside food and beverages are not allowed, but there are ample dining options on-site.
