One Year to Go: Community Celebrations
The countdown is on, and we have lots on the go as we celebrate One Year to Go before the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025.
- Join us at Mountain Square in Whistler from Feb 12-16 from 12-4:00 p.m. to learn more about the first-ever Winter Invictus Games through trivia, street curling, and viewing the newly unveiled visual identity created by four leading First Nations artists. From 2-3:00 p.m. each day, there will be special visits from the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre, with activities including a drumming workshop and bannock donut tastings.
- Sign up for I AM Trying Curling at the Vancouver Curling Club at Hillcrest Community Centre on Friday, Feb 16 from 1-4:30 p.m. This one-hour session includes an instructor and all required equipment – grippers, brooms, sliders, stabilizers and delivery sticks if required. Wheelchair Curling and Young Family Curling will also be available.
- This Family Day, Monday, Feb 19, come out to the first ever FREE Unconquered Sports Day at the Seaforth Armoury! Open to all ages and abilities to try some of the adaptive sports featured in the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025.
