Celebrating the Unconquered Spirit: The Closing of the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025

After nine days of resilience, camaraderie, and triumph, the journey of the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025 presented by ATCO and Boeing came to a powerful conclusion with the Celebration Ceremony at Rogers Arena.
A Final Test of Strength: Indoor Rowing Finals
Before the celebrations began, competitors took to the competition floor for the Indoor Rowing Finals, pushing themselves to the limits with each stroke. In this closing contest of the Games, determination and endurance were on full display, embodying the unconquered spirit of the Invictus community. Every competitor, regardless of placement, left everything they had on the floor—each victory measured not in medals, but in personal triumphs and the strength found through sport.

Honouring the Competitors and Their Shared Journey
As the Celebration Ceremony began, the world turned its attention to the competitors—the heart of these Games. Over the past nine days, they have demonstrated the power of sport to inspire recovery, forge unbreakable bonds, and create lasting change. Tonight, we honour their courage, their families, and the journey that brought them here.
The evening featured moving speeches from presenting partners ATCO and Boeing, CEO of the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025 Scott Moore, and Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex, Founder of the Invictus Games. Each took a moment to recognize the competitors’ strength, resilience, and the unwavering support of their families and friends.
The atmosphere was electric with performances from an incredible lineup of artists, including Marie-Mai, The War & Treaty, Jelly Roll, and Barenaked Ladies, creating a night of celebration, reflection, and gratitude.
The Journey Continues: Passing the Torch to Birmingham 2027
As the evening came to a close, the official handover to Birmingham 2027 marked the next chapter in the Invictus Games legacy. Though the competitions have ended, the impact of these Games will continue to resonate. The Invictus spirit remains—proving that through sport, recovery is possible, and strength is truly unconquered.
