The Design
Crafted by artists from each of the Four Host First Nations – the Lil̓wat7úl (Líl̓wat), xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations – we take pride in the unique visual identity we have created for Invictus Games 2025.
The designs are rooted in the cultural traditions and strength of nature’s symbolism of the Salish people. The patterns and graphics evoke the natural beauty of British Columbia, from the waves signifying the Pacific Ocean, to the triangles depicting the Canadian Rockies. From the incorporation of the Salish Eye to the ripple-like crescents to the patterns evoking traditional blankets, to the Shared Journey emblem evoking the power of flowers in Indigenous medicine, the visual identity’s story embodies the spirit of Invictus through an Indigenous lens.

Land Acknowledgement
The 2025 Invictus Games will be held on the traditional territories of the Lil̓wat7úl (Líl̓wat), xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. We are working to ensure they respond to Canada’s Truth & Reconciliation Commission Calls to Action, and ensure Indigenous protocols are respected in all aspects of the Games.
