Whistler in February means cold temperatures and winter conditions—dress accordingly! Layer up with warm clothing, sturdy footwear, a hat, and gloves. A hot drink in a flask is always a good idea!

Set against the stunning backdrop of the Coast Mountains, the Whistler Invictus Village offers an immersive experience for visitors to celebrate the spirit of the Games. Located along the Whistler Village Stroll, it’s the perfect place to gather, connect, and be inspired. 

With live competition streaming, entertainment, and interactive exhibits, the Whistler Invictus Village provides a unique opportunity to engage with the Games and honor the competitors’ journeys. 

Fun Fact: Whistler hosted the 2010 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games, and today remains a world-class destination for winter sports! 

What’s Happening Here?

From February 9–13, 2025, between 11:00am – 5:00pm daily, the Whistler Invictus Village will feature exciting programming, entertainment, and opportunities to experience the Games in a breathtaking mountain setting. 

All activities are FREE and inclusive for all ages: 

  • Mountain Square: Partner-led activations 
  • Village Square: Whistler Invictus Concert Series 
  • Maury Young Arts Centre: Family fun featuring crafts, face painting, glitter tattoos, a community mural, art exhibit, and more! 
  • Whistler Olympic Plaza: Partner-led activations. 

Event Highlights:

  • Live Streaming of Competitions: Watch the action on big screens at the Maury Young Arts Centre, Village Square and Mountain Square. 
  • Cultural and Musical Performances: Experience energetic live music and Indigenous storytelling. 
  • Interactive Sports Trials: Try out a few of the winter adaptive sports featured in the Games.  
  • Invictus Games 2025 Merchandise: Official Invictus Games Merchandise is available for purchase at the London Drugs trailer in Whistler Olympic Plaza, Village Square, and in the Carleton Lodge Whistler Blackcomb Retail Store.

  • Parking is available at designated lots in Whistler. Please visit Tourism Whistler’s website for parking details. Public transit, walking, or cycling is recommended.

Outside food and drinks are not allowed within the curling shed, you are able to purchase food from the Blue Parrot Café within the community center
