What’s Happening Here?

On February 14th, 2025, the UBC Aquatic Centre will host all swimming competitions for the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025. Witness competitors from 23 Nations showcase their strength and determination in thrilling races. 

Competition Highlights:

Adaptive swimming events, showcasing inspiring displays of recovery through sport. 

Exciting team relay. 

Medal Ceremonies celebrating personal achievements and resilience.

Public Transit:

There are several convenient bus routes to reach the UBC Loop:

  • 99 B-Line: A fast and frequent service along Broadway.
  • 44 UBC/Downtown: A direct route connecting downtown Vancouver to UBC.
  • 14 UBC/Hastings: Travels from East Vancouver to UBC via Hastings Street.
  • 4 Powell/UBC: A scenic option from the Powell Street area.
  • 84 UBC/VCC-Clark: A great choice for those near VCC-Clark Station.
  • From the UBC Loop, the Aquatic Centre is just a short walk away.

Driving & Parking:

  • Parking is available in the North Parkade, just a 5-minute walk from the venue. Carpooling or public transit is encouraged due to limited space.

  • Security screening required upon entry.
  • Prohibited items include outside food, professional cameras, and large banners.
  • Smoking and vaping are not allowed on UBC property.

It is recommended to arrive at least 30 minutes before the event for security screening and seating.

Yes, you may re-enter however you must make sure your ticket is scanned upon exiting the venue so that it is still live.  

Outside food and drinks are not allowed within the pool facility, but there are many on-site dining options available on the UBC campus.
