Team Unconquered 3 Wins Their First Medals
History was made today as Team Unconquered 3 earned their first-ever Invictus Games medal in the Wheelchair Basketball Bronze Match. What is Team Unconquered? The concept was introduced at Invictus Games Toronto 2017 to allow nations of all sizes the opportunity to compete in team sports. The first Unconquered team brought together competitors from Romania, Ukraine, Denmark, and the United States, and since then, it has remained a core part of the Games.
Today, Team Unconquered 3 stepped onto the podium for the first time, proving that resilience, collaboration, and determination can lead to extraordinary achievements. Their journey embodies the Invictus spirit, showing that success is not just about competition but about the strength found in coming together.
